Having completed the module, students are able to:

  • understand the basic structure of financial accounting and reporting,
 
  • record business transactions using double-entry bookkeeping,
 
  • draw up income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements,

 

  • “read”, interpret and analyse information contained within the annual accounts,
 
  • apply the principles and rules of external accounting.
